Versioning

ModernFi follows semantic versioning principles:

  • MAJOR version for incompatible API changes
  • MINOR version for backwards-compatible functionality additions
  • PATCH version for backwards-compatible bug fixes

When breaking changes are introduced, ModernFi will communicate version increments in advance and provide a migration window during which both versions remain supported. Non-breaking changes may be made to the current version without incrementing the version number.

Release Notes

This changelog documents all notable changes to the ModernFi API, including new features, improvements, bug fixes, and breaking changes. Each entry includes:

  • Version number following semantic versioning (MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH)
  • Release date for tracking when changes were deployed
  • Change type indicated by tags (Added, Improved, Fixed, Breaking)
  • Detailed description of what changed and why
